La Leche League's monthly support group meetings provide an opportunity to talk to other mothers about the special joys and challenges of mothering through breastfeeding. La Leche League meetings are open to all interested women, and nursing babies are always welcome! We especially encourage expectant mothers to attend.
La Leche League offers a series of four meetings:
#1 Why Breastfeed Your Baby?
#2 There's A New Baby In Your Life
#3 Breastfeeding: Questions Mothers Ask
#4 Nutrition and Baby's Changing Needs
These are general topics, any specific concerns mothers bring to the meetings will also be discussed. We usually have more than enough to talk about and our topics are dependent on who attends our meetings.
For Meeting Locations check out our "Locations" page. It is updated as locations are confirmed. Meetings are usually held at a mother's home, a Leaders home, or a library meeting room. You can also call 265-3301 for locations and meeting information.
